Miraj Lee Saxton, a Mount Vernon, New York native, began her musical journey as a child prodigy, teaching herself to sing and play the piano. By age two, she composed her first song and debuted at three.

Beyond music, Saxton trained in ballet, karate, and gymnastics for over a decade. She started acting at six under Tina Satin and began classical piano training at eight. While proficient in clarinet and guitar, the piano and voice remain her primary instruments.

Saxton’s experience led her to numerous talent shows and competitions. At six, she won first place for her original composition. At eight, she placed second in singing and playing “Believe” at Talent America. She continued training classically and with jazz in both piano & voice through her higher learning studies in both college and graduate studies. Because of her intense training she is a master at vocal production especially with unique. harmonies for clients. She currently sings opera, jazz, & commercial music styles while also taking part actively in acting in voice overs, movies and commercials.

The Composer & Recording Engineer

Miraj Lee Saxton went on to college and studied a double major in music business with an emphasis in voice and sound recording technology in her undergraduate studies in college and picked up composition, conducting, and recording linear and non linear recording techniques. She continued her classical vocal training but also was trained in Counterpoint, Twelve Tone Technique /dodecaphony, Avant Garde, orchestral, jazz & commercial music composition. As part of her studies had to learn to teach all intruments and learn conducting. She finished with a full understanding of multiple styles time periods and techniques with a Bachelor's Degree then went on to do her Masters in Sound recording learning digital recording, acoustics, mixing & mastering. In her work she tends to either produce alone or with other talent and engineer and sometimes even master her own work. But has also, in her love for diversity can just as easily collaborate with other talents to create music as well.

The Producer & Film Scorer

Miraj Lee Saxton with her training went on to not only compose orchestral arrangements and lead sheets of original pieces & covers but also began producing music for herself and other clients. Her experience with many genres make her an asset to film developers with their diverse genre needs for film & she began to do jingles and film scores in addition to her writing and other talents. She has produced work for film video gaming projects, non profit jingles and so much more. Currently Miraj has been focused on her latest series of music in her release of her latest work as an artist. Stay tuned as this multifaceted talent is working on and amazing musical project that ties in with a huge humanitarian movement of love and compassion for her latest project.
