Crisp, dripping honey.
Sweet,
Edible spring flowers.
A scoop of strong wrapped in the whisper
of surrender—five delicate petals
of contentment.
A dribble of salty rain tears,
submerged in the sweat of time
Fold in a slab of mischief.
Moisten with laughter,
grease with cherry tart patience.
Soak overnight in forgiveness,
ripen with trust.
Together, we created a food
called love.
